Shuang County Welcomes White Swans

March and April are important migration seasons for white swans. On April 1st, Liuzhou West Lake in Liuzhou welcomed 19 migrating swans resting and replenishing their energy.

Liuzhou West Lake is located to the west of Liuzhou County, where the lake is rippling and the water is clear and beautiful, with excellent ecology. Dozens of swans swim on the lake, play and frolic, sometimes raise their voices high, sometimes softly murmur, sometimes flash their wings in the air, and sometimes dance gracefully, forming a beautiful landscape that attracts some photographers to take pictures and capture this beautiful moment.

Photographer Zhang Xintong: “I just counted 19 swans. The fact that swans can come to Liuzhou proves that Liuzhou’s current ecological environment is getting better and better, and I hope everyone can continue to love and protect the environment so that more swans and ducks can come here to give them a habitat.”

Every March and April, white swans migrate north to lay eggs, and by October, they migrate south to spend the winter. As the weather gradually warms up, white swans experience a peak migration north, traveling north to Siberia. It is reported that the group of white swans in Liuzhou Liuzhou West Lake was discovered by local residents on April 1st. In addition to white swans, flocks of ducks also come here to inhabit and forage.
