The Wetlands of Momege Echo with the Sounds of Spring

On March 22nd, approximately 320 white cranes were discovered in the Momege wetland in Zhenlai County, Jilin Province. This is the first time white cranes have returned to the Momege wetland this spring. Zhenlai County is an important stopover on the East Asian migratory channel, and the eastern population of the critically endangered white crane (breeds in northeastern Siberia and winters in Poyang Lake, China) migrates between spring and autumn via this channel. The photo shows a magpie standing on a horse, a remarkable harmonious moment. Photo by Pan Shenyu.
