The mystery of the ‘Tiger Pattern’ of the Forest King
The tiger is a large feline animal that many people are familiar with, but do you know what the tiger’s stripes are for?

Tigers in the Forest
Tigers mainly live in dense forest areas. Let’s imagine when sunlight shines through these trees, the tiger’s vertical stripes will blend seamlessly with all these mottled sunlight. And this blending just happens to be the tiger’s best camouflage.
Since ancient times, people have been keen on discussing the combat abilities of large animals such as tigers. This time’s ‘Scientific Animal Garden’ studio has also instantly turned into a ‘Boxing Champion’ arena, predicting the outcome, don’t miss it!

Will the lion also ‘fight’ in the studio?

‘Husband Management is Strict’
Although lions live in Africa, lions also have a very artistic image in Chinese traditional culture. Our wonderful animal presenter Xiong Bao brought the Chinese lion to the studio.

Lion Dance Performance in the Studio
Let’s take a look at a real lion, in the picture below, both lions are lions, aren’t they quite different in appearance? Actually, lions are the only feline animals that are dioecious and only male lions grow manes.

The King that can climb trees – Leopard
With ‘Leopard’ in the name, it’s not always a leopard. Generally, ‘Leopard’ refers to a large feline animal, but cheetahs are not. Cheetahs don’t belong to the genus Panthera, they are a separate genus of cheetahs. Because of the difference in the tongue bone structure in the throat, although cheetahs are tall and big, they can’t make a roar like a big cat, but only make a sound like a kitten. Of course, just by looking at the name, many people may not be able to distinguish them, who calls them ‘’ (same clothes)? This time's wonderful animal presenter Song Da Zhao will tell you a little secret to distinguish golden leopards and cheetahs.

The program will introduce the differences between cheetahs and golden leopards
The spots on golden leopards and cheetahs have significant differences: the patterns on the golden leopard’s body are rose-shaped with a hollow center, which looks like a copper coin, so we affectionately call leopard ‘golden leopard’. Take a look at the cheetah’s body, the cheetah’s spots are ‘solid’ dot-shaped.
A few years ago, Song Da Zhao and his team photographed golden leopards using infrared cameras at an altitude of over 4000 meters. And the golden leopard photographed actually went up the tree!

The leopard’s menu can really be considered the ‘king’ menu for wild feline animals. Song Da Zhao roughly estimates that at least 200 dishes can be written in the leopard’s menu. What a big appetite! Most importantly, in order to ensure their safety, leopards have also trained a supreme ultimate skill - living in the trees with food.
