Escape from the Circus: Two Siberian Elephants Roam in the Snow
Animal performances bring people a fresh and exciting experience, but also cause great psychological burden to the animals trapped in the circus. Even though many animals have been domesticated by humans, some animals will not miss a rare opportunity to regain freedom.Recently, two elephants escaped from a circus in Ekaterinburg, Russia. Many netizens were lucky to capture the footage of them frolicking in the snow and causing headaches for the staff.

The Associated Press reported that the incident occurred during a rest transfer. The two elephants, named Karla and Ranni, escaped to express their dissatisfaction with their current living environment.

As a large terrestrial animal, the elephants ran directly, obviously will bring certain risks to the city center people. In order to coax them back into the fence, circus staff were quite puzzled.

Fortunately, the elephants from the Italian circus (who had performed in Russia during a vacation) just enjoyed frolicking in the snow and did not harm any passers-by in the winter.
Finally, 15 staff members guided Karla and Ranni back to the fence using rope binding methods (binding their front legs). During this time, their bodies were not injured.
