The Owner Introduces the Family's New Member: 'He's Here to Compete for My Attention'
An international couple raised a Siberian Husky, and before having children, they showered the dog with affection as if it were a child. The Husky, spoiled and indulged, became jealous, especially vying for its father's attention.

After a long 'battle,' the Husky eventually dethroned its father and secured a prominent position in its mother's heart. However, the good times didn't last, as another 'rival' appeared. The Husky immediately overturned the 'vinegar jar' upon seeing him.

Not long ago, the mother gave birth to a baby. She wanted to formally introduce 'brother' to the Husky. Perhaps the Husky sensed the mother's different attitude toward the baby, and it strongly resisted shaking hands upon meeting him, refusing to extend its hand.
The mother held the Husky's hand, saying, 'This is your brother, come and say hello.' The Husky immediately became jealous, pulling its hand back, 'No, he's here to compete with me.'

The mother comforted the Husky while gently holding its hand again. The Husky knew her intention, and stubbornly refused to extend its hand, 'Pff, I don't want to get to know him.'

In the future, they will all live under the same roof. No matter what, the mother hopes the Husky will accept the baby.
After multiple attempts, the Husky, although didn't retract its hand, acted like a stubborn child, turned its head and glared at the baby, 'I'm making a concession to you, mother, this doesn't mean I accept you.'

The Husky's resistance to the baby is primarily due to a lack of psychological preparation and a manifestation of insecurity – a fear that the mother's love will be taken away by the baby.

The pet owner believes that after a period of interaction, the dog will definitely establish a close relationship with the baby.
