Located in the Urat Banner of Inner Mongolia's Bayan Nor City, the Yellow River Delta is a major migratory channel across Eurasia and has now become an important breeding ground for Trumpeter Swans and other waiting birds in China. Starting from the late March, Trumpeter Swans and other waiting birds concentrate in the Yellow River Delta to lay eggs and hatch them, and protection personnel strengthen patrol and protection work during this period, monitoring their living conditions at any time to ensure their smooth laying of eggs.
Currently, Inner Mongolia has delineated nesting and breeding core areas for birds in the Yellow River Delta, prohibiting human activities to interfere, and has established fixed monitoring points, patrol routes, and taken measures such as specialist guard patrols and regular monitoring to supervise the birds' habitat and breeding situation.
