Tarim River Wetlands in Xinjiang: Waterbirds Play a 'Spring Love Song'

Entering April, the Tarim River wetlands in Xinjiang are filled with birds dancing and welcoming the spring, with species such as the Black-eyed Gull, Red-breasted Cormorant, Gray Crane, and Brown-headed Goose playing a 'Spring Love Song', creating a picturesque spring bird-view painting.

As the climate warms, the snow and ice on the upper reaches of the Tarim River melt, increasing the water flow, and lush greenery appears on both banks of the Tarim River in Rolai County.

Shimmering with ripples, attracting tens of thousands of migrating birds to reside here. The photo shows a couple of water birds nesting together in the Tarim River in Xinjiang.
