In Jin Yong's martial arts novel 'Snow Mountain Flying Fox', there is a flying rodent called Flying Fox. Recently, in Xiu Shui Village, Mouba Township, Yuying County, villager Liu Aimin discovered this animal while digging bamboo shoots up the mountain.

On the afternoon of March 30th, the reporter followed Liu Aimin together to capture the video footage of the Flying Fox in Mouba Township, Yuying County, deep in the mountains.

At the scene, villager Liu Aimin gently tapped the base of a large tree, and a rodent with a white head and a long tail crawled out of the treehole, glided to another large tree 10 meters away, and crawled up the tree trunk. Liu Aimin said that he had never seen such an animal before.

It is reported that Flying Fox is also known as Red and White Ermine, Pine Cat, and belongs to the Ermine subfamily of the Ermine tribe. It is listed in the Red List of Endangered Species of the World Conservation Union. It often lives in trees and caves. The Flying Fox has skin connection between its limbs, is agile, good at climbing and gliding. It can glide and fly between trees.
