Spring Warmth and Blooming Flowers, Large Numbers of Migratory Birds Arrive at Miyun Reservoir
Large numbers of migratory birds have recently arrived at Miyun Reservoir, with visual estimates indicating a significant population of freshwater seagulls and cormorants.
These migratory birds are often seen circling in the sky and playfully hunting for food in the water, presenting a vibrant spring scene.
In recent years, Miyun District has implemented multiple water conservation and protection measures, maintaining water quality at a national secondary standard or higher. Miyun Reservoir and its surrounding wetlands provide a good ecological environment for the proliferation of birds.
