Beaver's Masterpiece in Winter Valley
Many people haven't seen beavers, also known as otters, and the only beaver protection station in China is located on the Burgun River.
Some beavers also live in the Urengu River basin. Thanks to increasing conservation efforts, it's often possible to see beaver's masterpieces in the valley. However, beavers are naturally shy and rarely offer a chance to encounter them directly.
One winter, I was hiking in the valley when I suddenly saw a large area of fallen trees, scattered in a chaotic manner. The secondary forest protection in the valley is becoming increasingly strict, and it's estimated that dozens of trees were damaged, which could lead to criminal charges according to relevant laws. However, upon closer inspection, the 'culprit' turned out to be a beaver,
From the scene, it seems that this 'guy' was building a magnificent structure—a dam. It's no secret that beavers are renowned as architects. It's likely that it was disturbed and abandoned the project. Perhaps it was preparing for the spring floods! Besides the beaver, no one would dare to damage trees so blatantly!
