You can often see Red-bellied Redshanks standing tall on branches in the tamarisk shrublands, like tireless sentinels. Sometimes, you can take pictures of it from a close distance, and sometimes it appears very alert and quickly flies away at a great distance. But its vibrant plumage is still very attractive in winter landscapes.
