Gansu: Rare! Large Population of White-Lipped Deer Collectively 'Patrol Mountains'
On April 6th, a wild animal resource investigation team of the Gansu Qilian Mountain National Nature Reserve Administration captured footage of a large population of white-lipped deer in the Hongdu River area of Qifeng Town, Sunan Tujue Autonomous County, Zhangye City. More than 260 white-lipped deer were seen running and foraging along the mountain stream. According to reports, this is the largest white-lipped deer population discovered in the past ten years.
