On March 24th, 2020, a rare colorful wild pheasant was found foraging in the rapeseed fields of Lu Village, Yixian County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province. In the morning of that day, a huge and rare colorful wild pheasant was discovered in the rapeseed fields of Lu Village, Yixian County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province. Wild pheasants, also known as jungle fowl or rooster, are named 'colorful mountain pheasant' for their colorful and flamboyant feathers. They are valuable ornamental and medicinal birds, and are known as 'the king of animals' by people all over the world. Colorful wild pheasants have been listed in the 'List of Wild Animals of Vital or Important Economic and Scientific Research Value Protected by the State' issued by the State Forestry Administration on August 1, 2000. They are classified as Level II protected animals.
