Wild Boar, Leopard Cat… Red Water Maple Nature Reserve, 55 Wild Animal Species ‘Invade’ Infrared Cameras
The Red Water Maple National Nature Reserve Bureau used infrared cameras to take close-up shots, identifying 55 species of wild animals and birds.



National Level Protected Animal Reeves' Muntjac is feeding its cubs, wild boar brings a group of wild boar cubs to forage. In addition, the infrared camera for the first time recorded the National Level Protected Animal Leopard Cat, which is a carnivorous animal, comes out to activity at night, good at running and climbing trees, often activities in the forest area.

According to reports, the Red Water Maple National Nature Reserve Bureau has currently monitored 13 species of second-level protected animals, including 5 species of animals and 8 species of protected birds.

Since December 12, 2016, the 60 infrared cameras installed in the Maple National Nature Reserve have identified 55 species of wild animals and birds, including 21 species of animals and 34 species of wild birds.



The Red Water Maple National Nature Reserve Bureau's thirty-year protection has made the forest resources continuously improve, and the number of wild animal species within the area is constantly increasing. Recently, some wild animals that have disappeared from our sight for a long time have returned, and the ecology of the Maple National Nature Reserve has been greatly improved.
