Devil City, Riding a Small Train to Enjoy the Scenery
I didn't feel like martial arts plots, 'Seven Swords Under Heaven' and 'The Last Emperor' didn't resonate with me at all, but I was fascinated by those yellow earth and desert rocks, so it was naturally a matter of course that we visited the World of Devil City first. I originally planned to go to (Karamay) early the next day to take a stroll, but we were, as always, late = = , we could only have a fleeting glimpse of this oasis city in the desert. I didn't expect (Karamay) to be so green!

From (Karamay) along the highway, we drove north for about half an hour to the Devil City, but it took about an hour and a half. The first half of the road section was quite boring, our vision was blocked by the high highway guardrail. Oilfields, knocking machines, and the desert—we could only appear in our fantasies. But fortunately, the scenery outside the window was constantly changing, and unconsciously, we suddenly saw vast expanses of mountains and deserts! I, who was drowsy before, suddenly became active. The scenery in front of me was actually like the feeling of self-driving in the West Coast of America a year ago! 'Look, we have such beautiful scenery in China!' I couldn't help but say a string of rainbow compliments.

After passing through the 'Eye of the Devil' gate, we officially entered the 'World of Devil City'.

Actually, we were a little disappointed: despite the vast natural scenery, we couldn't self-drive, and everyone could only sit in the sightseeing train according to a fixed route, which lost a lot of freedom! With a sullen mood, we got on the train.

But later, we felt that riding the small train for sightseeing was also good: it could effectively avoid tourists damaging the scenery, and listen to the audio introduction of the small train, which was more knowledge-rich than just messing around and taking pictures. On the way the small train moved, we finally saw scattered knocking machines, which made up for the regret of not seeing them along the way.

Actually, I almost squinted my eyes and didn't recognize a few, only recognizing 'Lion-Headed Man-Faced Statue' . However, I still admire the power of nature, which has been hammered and carved into so many wonderful masterpieces.

The small train arrived at the terminal station. After getting off, everyone could choose to climb the observation deck to overlook the 'mountains', or ride a camel to appreciate the scenery on both sides, or take an ATV to explore deeper areas. Choose one of the three, we decisively chose to climb the observation deck to see the scenery. Because I didn't want to eat sand, nor did I want to compete with a group of tourists for camels haha.
