Taking the bus or train from Qinshai to Shanhaiguans allows you to enjoy the scenery along the way.
I went to Qinshai last October due to a friend in Qinshai, so I asked her for accommodation recommendations, and she suggested staying in the center, Shandi, which is very convenient for transportation. In Qinshai, basically take the bus, one yuan per trip. The first day, I went to Tiandi Yiguan and bought a ticket, which includes five attractions. Tiandi Yiguan, Gonggulou, Wangjia Diyi, Mengjiangnu, Lao Touna. Personally, I think Tiandi Yiguan is not very interesting, mainly some old buildings. Gonggulou is just a building, with a clock, a bell, and a small temple on the second floor.
Wangjia Guxue is considered quite large, and the preservation is still relatively good. You can see some bedrooms. These three attractions are not far apart, but to Lao Touna, you need to take a long bus and it's crowded. The main reason I came to Qinshai is to see the sea, so Lao Touna fulfilled my wish. The water quality is better than the sea I went to the next day. I picked up shells, but it didn't really play in the water in autumn, and then returned to Shandi, which is considered to be the center of the city. At night, you can go shopping in the mall and try some local snacks. The second day, I went to Yan University, mainly because the ticket was lost and I didn't go to Mengjiangnu. The university was relatively empty during the National Day, but it was still interesting to stroll around the campus.
I went to the aquarium in the afternoon. I don't think any aquarium in Qinshai is worth it, it's very small and I only spent less than an hour. Then I played on the beach behind the aquarium for an afternoon. I suggest everyone go to Shanhaiguans from Beidaihe, you can take a bus to Qinshai for about an hour, from Qinshai to Shanhaiguans there is a bus (one hour) and a train. If you take the bus, you can enjoy the scenery along the way. Shanhaiguans, I suggest everyone go to Lao Touna and Tiandi Yiguan. Mengjiangnu is far from the attractions, self-driving is also a good option, but it may be difficult to find a parking space. Tiandi Yiguan bought a package, student price can enjoy half price, you can walk inside the city wall, there are fewer people, you can see the distant Great Wall and mountains, the scenery is open. Lao Touna is where you can go to the beach and experience the life of the navy, there is Longmen Array, which is interesting, everyone can go for a walk.
After returning to Qinshai, I started a long wait for Haidilao. There were about 300 tables at 7:30 pm (probably everyone thought it wasn't the National Day). I waited and waited, but the key is that the bamboo shoots and golden mushrooms in this Haidilao are not very fresh, alas, the hot pot has changed (like a pool). Chinese chef is quite beautiful. If you have the opportunity to go to Qinshai University City to eat snacks (recommended by classmates, didn't have time to punch in). Finally, if you are going to Qinshai in the near future, you must bring more clothes, because wherever you go doesn't matter. The most important thing is to pay attention to safety and have a happy journey, and remember the memories and sweet snacks of the second long journey.
