The Most ‘Shadowy and Gentle’ City in Western China: Locals Speak with a ‘Cute’ Tone, Men are Generally Handsome and Charming

Speaking of western China, it's usually perceived as having a rugged and style. When people think of 'yinru' (fragility/delicacy), they often associate it with eastern or southern cities, making it difficult to link it with western regions. However, there are also cities in western China that possess a relatively 'yinru' style. The most representative one is undoubtedly Chengdu.
Chengdu, located in southwestern China, is the capital of Sichuan province and a historic city with deep cultural roots. Chengdu boasts abundant tourism resources, a relaxed and comfortable lifestyle, and is renowned as the 'Land of Abundance,' captivating countless visitors who often find themselves reluctant to leave. Therefore, Chengdu is also known as a 'city you don't want to leave'
Chengdu's recent development speed is undeniable, making it one of the top two largest cities in western China. Even when considered nationally, it's a prominent 'new first-tier city.' However, those who have visited Chengdu for tourism would find that the city's atmosphere differs considerably from the conventionally perceived 'rugged and' western region, classifying it as a city with a distinctly 'yinru' (fragile/delicate) vibe.
Firstly, the city's construction gives a feeling of meticulousness and a strong '' (artistic and fresh) vibe. Furthermore, the local Sichuan dialect, with its charming and '' (flirty/cute) tones, adds to the appeal. It's no wonder so many visitors feel that Chengdu is another 'Shanghai' in the west, which easily explains its appeal.
Secondly, Chengdu men are generally of short stature and slender builds, combined with their cute and lovely appearance and fashionable, bold outfits. When walking through Chengdu's streets, one often encounters many slender and delicate men with a 'yinru' (fragile/delicate) vibe. Sometimes, Chengdu men are even cuter and more alluring than women, which is quite surprising for visitors.
So, have you ever visited the capital of Sichuan, Chengdu? What's your impression of Chengdu? Do you think Chengdu people speak in a '' (flirty/cute) way, and do you generally find Chengdu men to be cute and lovely? Do you think Chengdu is one of the 'most yinru' (fragile/delicate) cities in western China? If you have the opportunity, what would you like to explore in Chengdu?
