This Sacred Mountain of Shaanxi is World-renowned, with Sun Simiao Formerly Residing Here
This mountain in Shaanxi is world-renowned as a sacred mountain, and Sun Simiao once resided here for many years, possessing great historical value.
In our country, there are many different mountains, and the most famous ones are probably Mount Tai and Huangshan. However, in Shaanxi, there is a mountain famous because of 'immortals,' which is Wudang Mountain. This mountain is not very high, about 800 meters. Because Sun Simiao, who was called 'Immortal,' once lived here for a long time, it gained such a great reputation. Even now, its long history and charming scenery still attract many people to visit.

The history of this mountain is quite ancient, and it is now about 2,000 years old. When many people visit here to explore, they want to find traces of Sun Simiao's residence. But after visiting, they find that the most attractive thing is its humanistic landscape. Everywhere on the mountain, you can see many stone carvings and historical sites, each of which has great value.
When visiting Wudang Mountain, you must not miss this stone carving museum.
Visiting here, you can walk along the northern slope's stone path eastwards, passing through attractions such as the Drunken Stone, and the most eastern part of the northern slope is where the famous cliff carvings museum is located. Because this stone carving museum is not conspicuous, you might miss it if you're not careful, so you must observe it carefully. Inside the stone carving museum, there are many ancient stone carvings, including those from the Tang and Song dynasties, with a time span of over a thousand years, which is a precious treasure.

When you visit, you will find that in front of each stone cave there is a special sign to help visitors. The Guanyin Buddha statue in the seventh stone cave is the one that Lin Huimin photographed, which is very famous. The entire Buddha statue is four meters high, very tall. Although its clothing is not very exquisite, the lotus platform is very well-crafted. We don't know when this Buddha statue was built, but according to our estimate, it can only be tentatively determined to be from the Ming Dynasty.
The statues on Wudang Mountain are all well-preserved and reflect their historical value. After you exit this exhibition hall, you will find that this hall is not very large, but every Buddha statue it collects is priceless. In addition to these Buddha statue halls, there are many famous attractions on Wudang Mountain, including stone pillars, stone archways, and so on. Each building shows the difference between Wudang Mountain and other mountains.
