Just now, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism held a concentrated opening ceremony for major cultural and tourism projects across the province. The site of the Ma Jia Park project in Jiaxing Economic and Technological Development Zone (International Business District) hosted the opening ceremony. Here as a sub-venue of Jiaxing, the ceremony was live-linked to the opening ceremony sites of 11 cities across the province.
The reporter learned on the spot that the Jiaxing Ma Jia Park project, which will be built, has a planning area of 23 hectares and a total investment of 1.7 billion yuan. It is divided into Ma Jia Cultural Museum District, Archaeological Excavation Display Area and Cultural Leisure Service Area. Currently, the Ma Jia Cultural Museum, a heritage exhibition hall, has been built, comprehensively showcasing the cultural discoveries and research results in the Taihu Lake region and the Ma Jia archaeological discoveries, and detailed the production, life and social organization features of people in the New Stone Age. The Ma Jia Park will be implemented in stages, and the construction of the heritage shelter will be launched first, with a total construction area of 648.35 square meters and an elliptical shape like a cocoon, with beautiful shape and strong artistic sense. The heritage shelter is planned to be completed this year.
During the event, Jiaxing reported the Jiaxing Culture and Tourism project construction situation to the main venue of the Zhejiang Provincial Culture and Tourism Major Project Concentrated Opening Ceremony. It is understood that the Jiaxing Culture and Tourism projects concentrated in opening this time totaled 14 projects with a total investment of 217.65 billion yuan. It mainly involves cultural and tourism infrastructure, urban tourism, canal ancient town protection and development, and tourism resort construction. The opening and construction of these projects will effectively promote the high-quality development of cities, enhance the quality and functional level of cities, and contribute to shaping Jiaxing as a central city with 'Red Boat Spirit, International Flair, Canal Sentiment, Jiangnan Charm,' and welcome the centenary of the Communist Party of China with a new look and add new momentum and support.
