Nepal Trekking ACT Guide - Day 7 to Manang (without porter)
March 17, 2020, Day 7 departure, woke up with the sunlight, after eating breakfast, 8 o'clock departure, from Nawal to Manan, there are two routes, I chose the high-altitude mountain road, it was really exhausting, climbing up and down, climbing up and down, but the scenery was beautiful, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, monks chanting in temples, after passing the temple, descended into the deep forest, while urinating in the forest, I heard someone calling me, likely a caregiver, maybe villagers in the opposite mountain were herding cattle and sheep, teasing and joking at me, then it was again a steep, slippery, narrow road, requiring extreme caution, arriving at the summit of the other mountain, the snow was thick, and I couldn't walk, I also heard someone calling me, I looked back, and there was no one, there were no cattle or sheep on the opposite mountain either, it's now snowing heavily, and the livestock can't graze, thinking about this, my skin was crawling, and I shivered all over, quietly moving forward, always hearing people talking behind me, looking back, nothing was there, thinking about the sounds I heard in the forest, made my heart sink even further! Could I have offended the mountain god by urinating? Fortunately, I was brave and didn't let my imagination run wild, using a dialectical materialistic approach to carefully think about it, it might be a call of a large bird like a crow, or a voice that sounds like a person calling, or just the sound of a crow, distorted by the wind. I heard a lamb calling its mother two days ago, the sound was perfectly childlike. Cows also make sounds, sometimes they sound like talking, thinking about this, I even laughed at myself. On the road, when the signposts are not visible, I used my phone navigation to determine the direction, along the way, there were more and more pagodas, after 5 and a half hours, I arrived at Manan, Manan had no internet today, the difficulty coefficient of the hiking trip was 4 stars, and 4 stars for the hiking experience, arrived early, enjoying the sunshine, it will be even colder in a few days
