Dashahu River Ecological Governance Project total investment of 10.67 billion yuan, mainly planning to carry out ecological governance of the 35-kilometer river channel of Dashahu River in Jiaozuo City, the main content includes water source enhancement, water quality protection, ecological greening, and flood control. As of now, the core urban segment of this project has completed micro-terrain sorting of more than 2.5 million square meters and greening area of more than 2 million square meters.
East District: From Zhongyuan Road to Yingbin Road,
West District: From Yingbin Road to near Lingquan Lake.
The Dashahu River Scenic Area runs through the entire city for 35 kilometers.
5/42The water of Dashahu River comes from heaven and earth.
Through water quality enhancement, the water quality of Dashahu River in Jiaozuo has currently reached national Class 4 standard, Class 4 is also known as IV class, this standard is based on the requirements of agricultural and industrial water use, suitable for agricultural and some industrial water use, and can be treated appropriately for use as drinking water.

5/4335-kilometer Dashahu River Wetland Park will open on May 1st.
The comprehensive ecological governance of Dashahu River covers the ecological governance and improvement of the 35-kilometer river channel of Dashahu River from Hong Village to Ximu County Li Village in the Zhongzhuan District, the improvement of the landscape of three canal-like features (including diverting Yellow River into Jiaozuo), and the construction of 3 small reservoirs. The project covers 12-kilometer Dashahu River Wetland Park, 9 landscape gates, 6.6-kilometer boutique business tourism belt, 5 urban theme parks and 3 green channel corridors etc.
5/44The great transformation of Dashahu River.
Dashahu River is a tributary of the Wei River, the river channel is 115.5 kilometers long, 74 kilometers long in Jiaozuo, and has always been a drainage river for Jiaozuo. In recent years, the Dashahu River inflow has been less, mainly carries Jiaozuo urban sewage and industrial wastewater during non-flood season, the main channel is heavily silted up, flood control capacity has declined, becoming a 'dirty river'.

Dashahu River is the promoter of Jiaozuo's glorious history.
During the late Northern Wei Dynasty, wrote 'Waternotes', which provided substantial records of Dashahu River flowing calmly, constantly accommodating countless rivers, and continuously reaching the Jiaozuo area, merging with Baiquan Lake and Communist Canal in Xinxiang, and known as Wei River, which became a natural branch of the Grand Canal during the Sui Dynasty Emperor's time, making an indelible contribution to the economic development of Jiaozuo and the whole country.
5/46Dashahu River Yellow River Diversion Water Theme Park.
The Dashahu River ecological governance project, while strengthening ecological governance, has also built the Yellow River Diversion Water Theme Park at the Yingbin Road node in the core urban segment, inheriting and promoting the Yellow River culture.
5/47Dashahu River Scenic Area Greening.
12 kilometers of ecological river channel has been treated, 5000 acres of greening area has been built, more than 120,000 trees of Chinese Elm, Ginkgo, White Pine and other large and medium-sized trees have been planted. After the completion of the project, the total length will reach 35 kilometers, with an average width of 300 meters on both sides, a green space of 35,000 acres, and flood control standards will be raised to one in 50 years.
