Xiaoqing River originates from the mouth of the Yufu River in Muli Village, western Jinan, flowing eastward through Chaoyuan, Tianqiao, Licheng, Ziqiao of Jinan,, Gaoqing, Huantai of Binzhou, and Guangrao, Shouguang of Weifang, finally flowing into the Bohai Sea with a total length of 237 kilometers and a basin area of 10,336 square kilometers. It is a river that integrates flood control, drainage, irrigation, and transportation.
In recent years, it has gradually restored the grandeur of the Golden Waterway of ancient times.
