How I Lost 125 Pounds to 105 – The Story of a Girl Who Changed Her Diet and Exercise Habits

Let me introduce myself first, I'm 173cm tall, and five years ago my weight was 125 pounds. Considering my height, everyone had an impression of me as 'strong' at first glance.Especially compared to a girl who was 170cm but weighed less than 100 pounds at the time. The contrast was very obvious.

Girls don't want to be beautiful, do they? So I worked hard to be like her, eating only a boiled egg for breakfast, a few sips of milk, a few mouthfuls of oily vegetables for lunch, and an apple or two small cucumbers for dinner, never eating rice.

A week later, I really lost 6 pounds. But for several days, I didn't have any strength in my body. It seems like on the 13th day, at a classmate reunion, I ate bread and cake, and I truly felt that there were such delicious things in the world! The next day, I couldn't control myself, and I kept eating. Later, I decided to return to normal eating, but I felt that my appetite had become much bigger than before, especially I really liked eating bread-like carbohydrates. After a few days, I stepped on the scale, and the result was announced: failure to lose weight.

The second stage, hearing from my classmates that exercise was the healthiest way to lose weight, I realized that dieting was unhealthy and unreliable, so I started my fitness journey. Every evening after dinner, I went to the playground with my classmates to run for three or four kilometers. Back then, I was young and really persisted for a month. But the effect was none. Actually, I could feel it myself – after exercising, my appetite increased, and the scale showed that I gained two pounds. However, I felt much better overall, and I looked more solid.

Later, summer was coming, and I was very anxious, so I went to the gym with my classmates and hired a personal trainer. I really learned a lot from him, and that's where I gained my fitness knowledge.

I gradually realized that I shouldn't do long-term aerobic exercise.Aerobic exercise will lose precious muscle. And long-term aerobic exercise doesn't have an effective fat-burning effect; it only works when combined with anaerobic exercise.

I gradually realized that you must consume less than you consume to achieve effective weight loss, and this is reallyThree-fourths rely on exercise, and one-third relies on diet. How you eat and what you eat really matter.

Over the next year and a half, I never felt hungry, I exercised 2-4 times a week, and I really lost more than ten pounds. Even if I didn't exercise later, my weight remained within a healthy range.

So dear little girls, don't diet anymore. Dieting can greatly reduce your basic metabolism and have a negative impact on your health. It will also often lead to overeating. Fortunately, I realized it in time and stopped myself. If you want to eat, just eat; don't suppress yourself too much.

And don't think that because you've eaten a lot, you'll suddenly go to the gym for several hours to completely burn it off or directly encourage yourself to induce vomiting. This will only make your body worse.

Now you need to gradually quit sugary drinks and pastries.Sugary drinks can easily add up to a whole meal. You shouldn't know that a cup of milk tea can be equivalent to a full meal.

Now you need to gradually quit fried foods.Fried foods are really high in calories, and it's difficult to feel full after eating them. Don't forget about fatty meat, too.

Now you need to gradually learn to do anaerobic exercise. If you don't have a coach, download Keep and follow the videos to do hit and burn exercises. The most important thing is to maintain a regular diet and a regular life. Don't stay up late.

Staying up late is really bad for your skin and can lead to weight gain (after staying up late, you crave high-calorie foods even more).Don't be in a hurry to achieve results. Don't expect to lose weight in one day. Be patient and persistent. I believe that if you persevere for three months, you will be able to feel the results.
