(Author: Shu Hongyun) Chinese Martial Arts, profound and sophisticated, there are countless internal and external martial arts techniques. How to achieve the best effects in the shortest time has always been the researcher's subject and the wish of martial arts enthusiasts. Based on many years of study, I have sorted out a set of forceful inner-strength palm techniques with effective and substantial results, hoping to be helpful to everyone.

Based on my fifteen years of teaching practical experience, for general martial arts enthusiasts of average build, within seven days, 98% can achieve the effect of breaking bricks with a palm.Specific practice method as follows.

First Style: Great Power (Palm Technique)

Stand with both feet apart, with the distance between them being the same as the shoulder width apart, both hands raised above the chest, palms facing inward, both knees and elbows bent at 130 degrees, fingers spread, both eyes level with the front, the whole body relaxed. With a thought, top oneself, standing upright and straight. Practice for 10-20 minutes (Fig. 1).

Practice points: Relax for 20 minutes, when feeling tired, add five times the force with both arms and palms. This practice will double your efforts and speed up your progress. Therefore, endlessly relaxing and standing will certainly have good fitness effects, but the progress of power will be much slower.

Practice effect: You will feel a clear sensation of heat and power in both arms and hands.

Second Style: Forceful Tiger Palm

Stand with both feet apart, with the distance between them slightly wider than the shoulders, both knees bent at 130 degrees. Both palms raised, fingers pointing upward and backward with as much force as possible simultaneously with inhalation. Immediately after the upward movement, both palms move forward slowly with the greatest power, while exhaling, concentrating all the energy of the body into the palms. The palms continue to move forward without stopping, relax and pull back. Repeat this pushing and pulling 24-49 times (Fig. 2, 3).

Exhale, take three deep breaths.

Effect: Both palms feel hot and full of power.

Third Style: Tiger Palm

Both palms placed on a stool, with the distance between them the same as the shoulder width apart, both palms pressing firmly onto the stool with the greatest force, the whole body straight, from head to toe in a straight line with a bend of 130 degrees at the elbows, with the thought concentrating all the energy of the body into the palms. Practice this for 30 seconds to 2 minutes in groups, then finish with three groups of repeated practice (Fig. 4).

Finish with relaxation, take three deep breaths.

Practice points: Keep the body straight, both elbows bent.

Fourth Style: Tiger Palm (Left Style)

Stand with a left bow stance, left hand placed in front of the left chest, right palm raised slowly, inhaling with the nose, concentrating all the energy of the body into the dantian (energy center). Immediately after the upward movement, the right palm suddenly moves downwards with the greatest speed and force, exhaling, concentrating the energy of the dantian along the inner side of the arm into the palms. Repeat this for 24-36 times. Finish with relaxation and take three deep breaths (Fig. 5, 6).

Fifth Style: Tiger Palm (Right Style)

Stand with a right bow stance, right hand placed in front of the right chest, left palm raised slowly simultaneously, inhaling with the nose, performing the same action as the left style, but in the opposite direction.

Palm Breaking Brick Test: Find a red brick, place it on the step (the brick extends half the length of the step), press the left hand firmly, do not allow the brick to move at all, use the right hand to strike the exposed part of the brick with the palm (Fig. 7). If the brick breaks in half, it's a success (Fig. 7).
