On that day, wetland management personnel patrolled and found several gray cranes and white-necked cranes on the southern bank of Flash River Lake. Through binoculars, they carefully observed the cranes, and found that their legs were also wearing leg rings. After experts specializing in crane research confirmed, these ringed white-necked cranes came from a Mongolian organization called Nyamba.

It is introduced that white-necked cranes will fly from the eastern province of Mongolia to Poyang Lake in Jiangxi every autumn to spend the winter. When the northern spring comes and the temperature rises, they return from Poyang Lake in groups to their breeding grounds in Mongolia. In recent years, with the continuous improvement of the local ecological environment, Guishanhe Flash River wetland park has become a resting place for them on their return journey.
