Hulunbeier Jixing Marsh Continues to Welcome First Batch of Migratory Birds

Over the past few days, Bingxin Wetland in Huhongchang has continued to welcome the first batch of migratory birds returning north, with tens of thousands of geese flying in the wetland, interspersed with seagulls, white-tailed eagles, and osprey.
Amidst the crisp, melodious sounds of bird calls, the silent Bingxin Wetland gradually regained its vitality, and the wetland's early spring has arrived. With a gentle breeze, rushes swayed, and in the midst of the pristine snow and golden rushes, gray geese leisurely paced. Birds were seen foraging throughout the wetland and surrounding areas, including the rushes, bushes, frozen lake surfaces, and nearby farmland.
The main contiguous area of Bingxin Wetland is 5874 hectares. This wetland is crisscrossed by rivers and lakes, and in the spring and autumn, tens of thousands of geese rest and forage here, accumulating strength for their long migration.
Wildlife conservation experts said that according to observations, this year's migratory birds arrived at Bingxin Wetland earlier than usual, about a week earlier. Currently, the number of geese observed in Bingxin Wetland is approximately ten thousand, seagulls are several hundred, white-tailed eagles are about 30, osprey 2, and vultures 10.
