After Getting a Dog, What Habits Have You Developed? Let's See How Many I've Hit.

Dog owners seem to fall into the 'true fragrance' law, and things that used to seem unnatural become natural once you get a dog. As a dog owner, what habits have you unconsciously developed?

Unconsciously talking to the dog

Before having a dog, seeing some people encounter unhappy situations, you would complain to your own dog, and at that time you felt that they didn't understand, talking so much to the dog was a waste of words, and it didn't help to solve the problem. After raising a dog, I often unconsciously talk to the dog, whether it's a happy or unhappy thing, I always want to tell it. You tell the dog all kinds of things, it never feels annoyed, just lying down and quietly listening, sometimes leaning towards you, even hugging you, it seems that it understands what you're saying, and also understands your mood. Whenever this happens, you feel that no matter how difficult things are, they will pass.

Just playing with the dog

I'm very busy at work, my German Shepherd lies beside me quietly watching me work, the shepherd sometimes comes to my desk to beg for affection, and is always scolded by the shepherd. When I'm not busy, I always want to hug the dog and play with them in a changed way, no matter what they do, the two dogs will cooperate well, and they can always find joy in boring things, which suddenly brings more warmth to the originally monotonous life.

Seeing other dog owners on the internet play with dogs, if I feel it's a good way, I always experiment on my own dog to see what reaction the dog has, when I find that my dog is not as smart as other dogs, I will say jokingly: 'It turns out that everyone else's dog is better.' But when I see my dog trying to cooperate with me even though it looks silly, I will immediately give it a big reward.

Phone full of dog photos

Before having a dog, many people like to take selfies or take pictures of the surrounding scenery, basically centering around themselves and their lives. After having a dog, I have to take pictures of the dog every day, and I feel that the dog looks cute and funny at any time. Just like a dog breed has a silly period, I feel that my dog is always good-looking, no matter what time it is to take pictures.

Some dog owners like to take funny photos of their dogs, even if they are ugly, they feel that they are cute. I need to clean my phone every few months and store photos in the cloud, even if I know some photos are similar and have no highlights, I won't delete them, and I will try my best to save them, always feeling that each photo is unique.

Online shopping is all for dogs

Before having a dog, every Singles' Day, I always thought about buying something for myself, even if I didn't buy anything, I wanted to join in the fun and buy something randomly. Since raising a dog, I start planning Singles' Day in advance, what the dog needs, where to buy better quality and cheaper prices, many things I want to buy will be added to the cart in advance, waiting for the price to be right. Singles' Day comes, and I spend a lot of money, but when I get the things back, I find that they are all for the dog, not for me.

Picking up dog poop, checking dog poop

I used to be lazy to bring a towel when running, but now that I have a dog, I always bring a bag when walking the dog, to give the dog water, give the dog paper, and give the dog a garbage bag. As soon as the dog poops, I immediately pick it up and put it in the garbage bag. It may only take a moment to pick up dog poop, but I understand the hardness and softness of the dog's poop, and whether it's healthy. If the dog's poop has a problem, I will keep thinking about what the dog has eaten today, whether it has eaten too much, and I will pay more attention to the dog's poop for a few days.

If you ask me if raising a dog is easy, it's really not easy, and if you ask me again, you still want to raise one, my answer is still affirmative. Although raising a dog is not easy, it also makes my life busy, but I still feel that raising a dog is a happy and enjoyable thing.
