Young Boy Trapped in River Channel Rescued by Shilou Fire Department's 'Trap'

At 4:41 PM on March 2, 2020, the Shilou County Fire Rescue Team received an alarm from the Public Security Bureau's 110 Command Center stating: A young boy was trapped in a river channel near the Yan'an Street Material Company, urgently needing rescue. The Shilou County Fire Rescue Team immediately dispatched a rescue vehicle and 8 combatants to the scene.

Upon arriving at the scene, after questioning police officers from the and on-site sanitation workers, it was learned that the boy fell into the river channel while chasing a pet dog. After observing the scene, the firefighters began communicating with the trapped boy, discovering that the boy had been trapped for a long time, with injuries to his hands, severely frightened, constantly shivering, and urgently needed rescue.

After simple psychological guidance, the trapped boy's mood gradually calmed down, and the firefighters determined to use rope pulling to carry out the rescue. The combatants securely attached the rope knots and lowered it down the stone wall. Under the guidance of the firefighters, the young boy put on the 'ring-net', secured the rope, and was pulled up along the stone wall.
