Mangshi Police and Public Aid National Level Protected Animal Red Kite
Mangshi Border Management Detachment Chahang Border Police Station successfully rescued a national level protected animal, the Red Kite, on February 16th.

On February 16th at 8:00 PM, the police station received a report from a citizen who found a small bird that couldn't fly properly. After receiving the alarm, the police checked the bird's body surface and found that the bird's beak was particularly short, its feathers were gray-brown, and its wings were not injured, but the bird was weak and unable to fly normally. Subsequently, the police contacted local Forest Public Security Bureau for assistance in treatment. It was then determined that the bird was a national level protected animal, the Red Kite. Currently, the Red Kite has been handed over to the local Forest Public Security Bureau for custody and treatment.

Recently, the Chahang Border Police Station has incorporated wildlife and plant protection into legal awareness campaigns. Through distributing pamphlets and publishing online accounts, the police have educated the residents of the area about wildlife and plant protection. The public's awareness of wildlife and plant protection has increased, and a good situation has formed where police and citizens work together to protect wildlife.
