Pucheng Police and 'Volunteer Police' Successfully Rescue a National Level Protected Animal – Great Bustard

Recently, Pucheng Chenzhuang Police Station rescued a national level protected animal, the Great Bustard.

On March 10th, Pucheng Chenzhuang 'Volunteer Police' team discovered a wounded bird resembling a bustard while patrolling the. After receiving an alarm call from the 'Volunteer Police' team, the police immediately rushed to the scene to handle the situation. The police conducted a detailed 'examination' of the Great Bustard, found no injury signs, and its vital signs were normal. To prevent the bustard from being harmed, it was brought back to the police station. At the same time, the police conducted legal awareness campaigns on wildlife protection laws and explained the importance of protecting wildlife.

After bringing it back to the police station, after contacting relevant departments, it was confirmed that the bird was a Great Bustard, a national level key protected animal.
Currently, the police are handing over the Great Bustard to relevant departments for observation. After its condition improves, it will be released back into the wild.
