National Treasure Giant Pandas, Bamboo-Cutting Experts, Actually Eat Meat
The Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base is located in the suburbs of Chengdu City, in Fuxu Mountain, about 10 kilometers from the city center. A wide and spacious Panda Avenue connects the city center. It takes about 40 minutes to travel by car. It has now become one of the main bases for the relocation of rare and endangered wild animals, such as giant pandas, to China. It permanently breeds giant pandas, small pandas, black-necked cranes, white storks, white swans, geese, ducks and peacocks. Of course, coming to Chengdu is mainly to see our national treasure giant pandas.

You must go to the breeding base to see the giant pandas as early as possible. During the noon time, there will be a period of feeding time, and after the giant pandas have lunch, they will fall asleep, and they will hardly have energy in the afternoon. It's best to go early.

I arrived at the panda base at 10 am, and some small pandas had already fallen asleep, lying on the ground motionless.

Small pandas are generally quite shy, and they don't want to come out when they are watched by so many people, and they occasionally peek out to satisfy people's curiosity, which is really cute.

Compared to the big panda world, I eat, you take pictures, take a picture from the front, take a picture from the side, you are happy, just be like that, just like an idol star.

To be honest, the upper limbs of the giant pandas are really agile, and their posture for grabbing bamboo is particularly skilled. After eating one, they take one, plus a round body, they are all gourmets. Don't look at it as cute and adorable, but it never swallows food whole, it picks up bamboo and peels off the outside part layer by layer with its teeth, only eating the tender shoots inside, which is also a gourmet.

Giant pandas belong to the order Carnivora, Ursidae family, and the genus of giant pandas, and they are the only mammals. Yes, they belong to the order Carnivora. In fact, 90% of people don't know that they are actually carnivores. They were originally meat-eaters. After evolution, 99% of their food is bamboo, but their teeth and digestive tract remain the same, so they are still classified as carnivores.
Young small pandas are like children, they like to play and chase each other. They have chubby cheeks, big black eye circles, plump bodies, and a characteristic inward-turned walking way. They also have sharp claws like a scalpel.

Giant pandas have survived on Earth for at least 8 million years, and they are known as ‘living fossils’ and ‘China’s national treasure’. It is a must-visit when traveling to Chengdu, to see these most adorable animals up close.
