A Woman in the United States Raises a Giant Goldfish, Measuring 30 cm and Still Growing

According to the British 'Mirror' reported on March 17th, Alexandria Miller, a woman from Chicago, USA, said that her pet goldfish grew from an initial length of 5 cm to 30.5 cm and ate other fish in the aquarium.
In July 2018, Alexandria brought Gerald, a goldfish, back home, at that time it was only a small fish, with a standard body size, but unexpectedly it continued to grow. Now Alexandria has to separate Gerald from other fish in the aquarium because it has already eaten several fish in it. Its size has far exceeded the previous aquarium, so Alexandria spent $1300 (9111.6 yuan) to replace the aquarium.
Alexandria said, 'At first I put it in a plastic bag and brought it back, it looked like an ordinary goldfish, I thought it would stop growing, but it grew a lot in a month. It often lies in the water and is motionless, but when it gets bored or hungry, it jumps out of the water and hits the aquarium thermometer, making a sound on the glass to attract our attention. But when it's not hungry, it can still remain calm. If I put the small fish and it together, it often eats the small fish'
Gerald has not stopped growing so far, Alexandria has started to look for the next aquarium. She said, 'It's difficult to measure Gerald's length. I can only lure it to the edge of the glass and measure its size from the outside.'
