Wildlife Camera Captures Peaceful Scene of Wolf and Badger
According to CNET report,A wildlife camera in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California captured a 'cute' scene of a coyote and a badger peacefully coexisting, with the coyote seemingly escorting the badger through a tunnel.Peninsula Open Space Trust shared this video on Tuesday. The organization said that sightings of badgers are uncommon, 'seeing such a coyote moving in a narrow space is unusual.'

The nonprofit organization is dedicated to protecting land and wildlife. This work includes researching wildlife crossing roads to protect animals from being hit by vehicles. Motion sensor cameras are one of a large network used to monitor wildlife activity in the Santa Cruz Mountains of the San Francisco Bay Area.

The harmonious coexistence of the two animals aligns with the known behavioral patterns of the two species. Coyotes and badgers have been known to hunt together. A 1992 study showed that their hunting skills complement each other, helping the two species capture more prey.
The organization said: 'When we get videos like this, it's a genuine pleasure, these videos show personality and remind us of the relationships between wildlife and how fascinating they are.'
