Crazy! Monkeys Engage in Street Brawl in Thailand
Thai Headline News reports that a recent online buzz involves photos and videos of hundreds of monkeys gathered in a brawl in Wat Phu Phi district. According to a 65-year-old local motorcyclist, he is a native of Wat Phu Phi and has never seen monkeys fighting so fiercely, nor has he witnessed such a large-scale confrontation.
It is reported that the monkey brawl in Wat Phu Phi occurred on March 11th, with hundreds of monkeys gathering on Pa Bon Yao Road, divided into two groups, accompanied by the monkeys' cries, which caused traffic congestion for tourists.

Local residents revealed that the two groups of monkeys fighting was not surprising, but the fact that they fought on the road and caused traffic congestion had never happened before. Approximately 200 monkeys live around Pa Bon Yao, maintaining their own territories, with the leader of one group called 'Seven Rays' (phonetic transliteration) and the other group has about 200 monkeys, mostly residing in San Pa Khan, with the leader of the group called 'Aia' (phonetic transliteration).
The reason for the two groups of monkeys fighting was that it was hot and the monkeys around Pa Bon Yao had not been fed, leading them to seek food in the San Pa Khan territory, resulting in a confrontation between the two groups. Although they fought, no monkeys were killed, but they were injured by biting each other.

This incident also topped the Chinese hot search list and sparked discussions among netizens.
