The Rarest Bi-Colored Lobster, with Two Colors Perfectly Separated, Only One in 500,000 Possible
We all know that lobster is a very common marine animal. Its chest is bulky, its abdomen is short, its shell is hard, and its colors are vibrant. Moreover, lobster is also one of the world's largest edible shrimp, with a delicious and nutritious taste, which is highly favored by people. We have all encountered lobster, they have very beautiful colors, and the colors on their bodies are unevenly distributed.

However, there also exists a very special lobster in the ocean. Its body only has two colors, and these two colors are evenly distributed on both sides of the body. This peculiar lobster is called the bi-colored lobster. Recently, a fisherman in the UK caught one.
At that time, the fisherman was fishing about 16 kilometers east of Bridlington, East Yorkshire, when he caught this special lobster. The lobster's body is composed of orange-red and black, with the left side black and the right side completely orange-red. Because of this lobster's peculiar appearance, resembling the clown 'Harry Quinn' wearing half red and half black clothes, people jokingly call it: Harry Quinn.

So how did this bi-colored lobster come about? According to scientists, this is because lobster eggs undergo complete cell division during the first fertilization, resulting in this special developmental outcome. After the cells are completely divided, the distribution of colors will be affected, thus presenting this unique characteristic.

At the same time, when the cells are completely divided, the sex of the lobster produced by this fertilized egg will also be affected, presenting a state of hermaphroditism. Scientists also said that the probability of producing such a lobster is very low, estimated at about 500000 lobsters, it will produce one such lobster, very rare.
