Indonesian Crocodile's 'Birth Tire' Rescue Attempts Fail, Government Offers Reward for 'Rebirth'
According to foreign media reports on January 31, Indonesian authorities are offering a bounty to ‘remove’ the crocodile’s ‘birth’ tire. This tire has been hanging around the crocodile’s neck for several years.
This crocodile, about 4 meters long, has been stuck in the tire for three years. Over the past three years, local environmental departments have been trying to find ways to help the crocodile.

It is reported that in 2016, this crocodile first appeared in a river flowing through Sulawesi Island. Experts speculate that it is a Siamese crocodile, which is an extremely endangered species. Although the local environmental departments have thought of many ways to help the crocodile, they have all failed.
As the crocodile grows bigger, people are worried that if the crocodile’s tire is not removed, it may be strangled.
Therefore, the governor of the Indonesian province recently instructed the protection agency to find ways to remove the tire. The agency currently decides to offer a bounty to professionals to rescue the crocodile, but the details of the task and the prize money have not been disclosed.
At the same time, the head of the agency warned that they are not looking for amateur enthusiasts, but for experts with wildlife rescue backgrounds.
And if someone accepts the task, it means that this hero will receive an unspecified amount of prize money while facing the 4-meter-long wild crocodile.
