Lushai, Guangxi: More Than Just Deer – A Filming Location for 'Journey to the West' and Known as the Most Seductive
There are really deer in Lushai.
Lushai belongs to Liuzhou, Guangxi, and the famous Middle Passage Ancient Town is located in Lushai. As for Lushai's history, there's at least 2000 years of it.
The deer in Lushai are raised in Yuyue Deer Roaming Park.

If you were to survey Yuyue Deer Roaming Park by drone, it would just be a patch of woodland beneath many hills. The continuous karst landform mountains look like countless giant rocks covered in vegetation, impossible to count and impossible to finish looking at. Yuyue Deer Roaming Park stands out among them.

The sika deer are usually in groups of five or six, and they are easily startled, but once they get used to people, they like to stick close to them. If you were to plant some cherry blossoms in Yuyue Deer Roaming Park, it would be like a second Nara.
Near Yuyue Deer Roaming Park is another more famous scenic spot: Xianghongyan Karst National Geological Park. It is said that the Spider Cave in the movie version of 'Journey to the West' was filmed there.

Walking along the mountain road, you also encounter a green snake, which ran along the crack in the stone when it sensed our movement. When we reached a subterranean cave, the view suddenly opened up. The water in the cave is clear and tranquil, and this water flow is called Luoqing River. In the past, Xu Xiake used Luoqing River to reach Liuzhou. Imagine, we are walking the same route as Xu Xiake, seeing the same scenery – that feeling is a little different.

On the surface of the Luoqing River in the cave, there is a winding and winding stone bridge, which is called Xianghongyan Karst Cliff carvings. The carvings on the bridgehead are said to be Xianghongyan Karst Cliff carvings, which are the inscriptions left by tourists in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China. At this time, a special feeling came to my heart: not only did I walk the route of Xu Xiake, but I was also walking the route closest to the era of modern people.

The bridge also has another bridge, but this bridge is a naturally formed stone arch, connected to the mountains, and is called Tian Sheng Bridge.
Who would say that Xiangtan is not the bathing pool of the Spider Spirit? The bathing pool in 'Journey to the West' is about 5 mu wide and more than 10 mu long, with depths of three feet, and there are six or seven holes through which the water flows. This is similar to the underground river of Xiangtan.

After passing Xianghongyan, we walked a winding and tortuous mountain road and arrived at the opposite side of Tian Sheng Bridge. Now, looking at Tian Sheng Bridge, it is completely included in my eyes, and Xiangtan is clearer, and the bridge is more magnificent. Those knife-like rocks, those mysterious caves, those tear-like blue water, are like a perfect painting drawn by nature.

At this time, the distant mountains are like ink, and the sunset is like blood. Looking at the beautiful Xianghongyan Karst scenery, I couldn't help but imagine, when the great traveler Xu Xiake was sailing on the Luoqing River by boat, what was he thinking? Was he also visiting here?
