Emergency Rescue! The Subject is Special
Yesterday it was probably running freely with its peers in the mountains along Jinan Bay Road, and today it got stuck in a fence due to a momentary 'trip'…

On the morning of February 22nd, a young deer was trapped in a fence near the Star Sea Square Castle Hotel in Dalian, with a fractured left hind leg and serious injuries. The Dalian Lushun Animal Rescue team learned of the incident and immediately cooperated with New Northern Pet Hospital to rush to the scene for rescue. Currently, the young deer has been rescued. However, the unfortunate news is: the little guy may have to undergo amputation surgery.
On the morning of February 22nd, 'Flower,' the responsible person and volunteer of Dalian Lushun Animal Rescue team, received a call from a citizen and immediately rushed to Star Sea Square nearby.
The trapped young deer lay 'upside down' on the fence – the deer's body was lying on the ground with its left hind leg firmly stuck in the fence, struggling but unable to escape. The deer's leg was bloody and bruised, the bones were obviously broken and deformed, with exposed bone, and it cried for help with helpless eyes.

'Although it is a 1-year-old deer, this little guy weighs about 50 kilograms. Coupled with the injury and shock, the little guy refuses to approach people, desperately struggling.' 'Flower' told reporters, in order to prevent the deer from being injured further, the doctors of New Northern Pet Hospital first anesthetized the deer. After it was anesthetized, volunteers and doctors jointly examined the little guy. 'Its injuries are particularly serious, left leg fracture, and immediate surgery is necessary.'
Subsequently, the young deer was transferred to New Northern Pet Hospital for further treatment. Unfortunately: due to the serious injuries, the young deer may need amputation surgery. 'It will never be able to run freely in the wilderness again. After it recovers, we will contact the wild animal rescue department to properly arrange for the little guy's future.' 'Flower' said.
Reporter learned that on Jinan Bay Road in Dalian, there is a wild sika deer population that is always active and is known as 'a new landscape of Dalian'. The injured young deer may be a member of the wild deer population.
