Large Swans Returning in Waves

During migration, the large swans often fly in small family groups, forming 'Z' or 'I' shaped formations.

In the morning, many large swans practice flying by the Swan Lake.
In recent days, the weather has gradually warmed up, and the large swans have begun to migrate north, embarking on their return journey. The number of large swans in Swan Lake and its surrounding seas has decreased noticeably. It's often possible to see large swans 'exercising' – from take-off, formation, aerial circling, shape changes, to landing, which is a visual delight. According to staff from the Rongcheng Large Swan National Nature Reserve, the swan migration return will continue until the early days of March.
