At Just 23, He Captured the Forest as a Fairy Tale
Due to Finland's harsh and long winters, many people believe Finland is a land of ice and snow, filled with cold and darkness.
However, in the eyes of 23-year-old Finnish photographer Ossi Saarinen, Finland is far more than that, and he used a series of incredible photos to showcase this land's captivating other side.

Saarinen loves to spend time with nature and usually approaches wildlife photography with a very respectful and equal attitude, capturing their emotions and feelings, their family ties, friendships, joys, sorrows, and silences.
Thanks to his prolific posting of excellent wildlife photos online, he quickly attracted over 220,000 followers on Instagram.

In Saarinen's lens, wild animals freely roam in the peaceful and ancient forests, enjoying their little worlds to the fullest.
The charming little elves in the photos seem to have stepped out of fairy tales.

Because Finland's forests cover approximately three-quarters of the total land area, the vast forests have become a paradise for wild animals and a dream destination for nature photographers, although winter is undeniably cold.
Even when the outdoor temperature drops to -20°C or even lower, Saarinen still chooses to spend several hours in the forest with wildlife, patiently waiting and quietly observing.

Saarinen says, 'Every encounter between animals and humans is a memorable and wondrous experience.' He hopes that his photos of animals and landscapes will bring joy to those who see them, and that the spread of the photos can inspire more people to pay attention to nature.
Here, let us admire the fairytale-like forest in Saarinen's lens.

We believe that a photographer who can capture animals with so much spirit and turn forests into fairytale worlds must have a deep love for nature.
