People's Daily Online reported by Korean media: On February 7th, the international environmental organization 'Greenpeace' held a penguin ice sculpture exhibition in Seoul's 광화문광장 (Gwanghwamun Square).
On that day, a number of lifelike, crystal-clear penguin ice sculptures attracted passersby to stop and watch, and they all took photos to keep as souvenirs. Greenpeace staff also gave the penguin ice sculptures prominent red scarves.
It is reported that Greenpeace organized this exhibition of 100 penguin ice sculptures, aimed at awakening people's awareness of protecting penguins and calling for Antarctica to be designated as a protection area.
