Grand Opening! Come See the 1.6 Million Migratory Birds at the Urban Park

Nanfang Media, Nanchang, March 18 (Shiyu) Nanchang's Tianxiang Garden officially reopened on March 18th. As people stepped through the garden gate, they heard a chorus of bird calls – white herons, gray herons, and night herons were nesting and roosting in the trees. When the wind picked up and the trees swayed, these birds took flight, blocking out the sun, creating a spectacular scene. A Tianxiang Garden manager named Yin introduced that the park currently has over 160,000 birds of various species, and it is now their breeding season. 'Most of these migratory birds are 'resident birds' of Tianxiang Garden,' Yin said. 'In recent years, Tianxiang Garden has carried out large-scale afforestation, and many migratory birds have stayed after arriving, nesting and breeding here.'
