Indian Calf Born with Four Eyes and Two Mouths, Farm Becomes Tourist Attraction

According to foreign media reports, last week, in a village called Paarasalai in southern India, farmer Bhaskar's cow gave birth to a calf that was strangely born with two faces. On the calf's head, four eyes and two mouths were symmetrically arranged. This frightened the farmer.

However, the farmer was still very carefully taking care of the calf. Because the calf had two mouths, it was very difficult to drink milk, so Bhaskar used a bottle to feed it milk every day, taking care of it like a child. Currently, the calf and its mother are both in good condition.

Also because of this strange calf's birth, Bhaskar's farm has now become almost a tourist attraction. People from nearby villages have heard the news and come to visit to see what the calf with two faces looks like.

In fact, the calf has this bizarre appearance because of a genetic mutation, resulting in a double-headed deformity. The reasons for this situation are close breeding and environmental changes. Environmental pollution is one of the important reasons for the occurrence of this genetic mutation. There have been similar double-headed animals such as double-headed cats, double-headed snakes, double-headed turtles, double-headed sheep, double-headed pigs, and double-headed lizards.

Research on double-headed animals has been around for a long time. Some researchers said that double-headed animals may have shorter lives compared to normal animals, because double-headed animals have lower intelligence and may make wrong judgments about danger. However, calves like this one that are raised in a farm, due to the relatively good living environment, should be able to live longer.
