A Leopard Cat Trapped by Poaching Tools Rescued and Returned to the Forest
On March 5th, reporters from Xibi District Police Station announced: A leopard cat, trapped and injured by poaching tools, was recently rescued and released back into the forest.

On February 26th, a bee farmer in Xishui County discovered a leopard cat trapped by poaching tools while foraging in Xibi District National Nature Reserve (hereinafter referred to as 'Xibi District'). The bee farmer found a place with a signal and called the Xibi District Administration for help.

According to reports, the leopard cat's forepaw was initially trapped by poaching tools with a clamp, but without any bone damage. Police officers and researchers carefully opened the iron clamp and rescued the trapped leopard cat, taking it out for treatment.
On March 5th, police officers from Xibi District introduced that the rescued leopard cat, except for the wound on its forepaw, was in good health. After disinfection and bandaging, it was released near the discovery site.

It is reported that, regarding the poaching case that caused the leopard cat's injury, Xibi District Police Station is conducting an investigation.
