Rapid Temperature Rise, Swans and Geese Return Early to City's Habitat
On November 11th, at the Zhisizhahu monitoring point in Xuyuan, several villagers discovered that several swans and dozens of geese were leisurely feeding in front of them, 20 to 30 meters away. At the same time, large flocks of geese were seen feeding near the residences of villagers at Wangtai monitoring point and Sichacha River wetlands. Oriental White Storks and Black-crowned Night Herons, as well as various ducks, were also flying around houses. Spring has arrived, and swans and geese are returning to our city to their nesting grounds.
