Virtual Tour of Rizhao from Home: Rizhao City Exhibition Hall
To allow citizens to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Rizhao while staying at home, the Rizhao Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, together with Shandong Radio and Television Station Rizhao News Station, launched the ‘Explore Rizhao from Home’ activity.Citizens can follow ‘Rizhao Qilu Net’, ‘Tourism Rizhao’, and ‘Explore Rizhao’ WeChat official accounts, as well as related event posters, to virtually ‘explore’ major scenic spots in Rizhao via VR panoramic tours.Starting January 28th, a new scenic spot will be launched every day. Citizens can watch the sea, climb mountains, pick tea, and taste delicious food at home, experiencing different aspects of Rizhao’s beauty each day.

The Rizhao City Planning Exhibition Hall is located on the north side of Haiqu East Road, west of the south gate of the Water Sports Base, inside the Olympic Water Sports Park. The project occupies an area of approximately 2 hectares and has a total construction area of about 8000 square meters.The exhibition hall’s location is in the central plaza outside the main entrance, where a spherical sculpture stands to commemorate Rizhao’s winning of the United Nations Human Settlement Award.
The exhibition hall has a construction area of 10189 square meters, and its exterior design incorporates the ‘Seagull Dance’ and ‘Sea Sunrise’ concepts.The exhibition hall is divided into three main exhibition areas: ‘Impress Rizhao’, ‘Interpret Rizhao’, and ‘Look Ahead to Rizhao’.“”“”“”
