Song Dynasty Stone Pagoda at the Red Army Long March Memorial Hall
The Red Army Long March Memorial Hall is located 45 kilometers west of Chengdu, at Gaohe Town, Stone Pagoda Temple. This temple is the former site of the fourth district of the Chinese Red Army's Fourth Field Army, established in 1935. It was officially opened to the public in July 1998 after being established in January 1997.
Behind the Red Army Memorial Hall, there is a Song Dynasty stone pagoda. It was approved and announced as a national key cultural relic protection unit by the State Council in 2001. The stone pagoda is 17.8 meters tall and has a unique shape, rarely seen in China, and is definitely worth a visit.
