Development Zone Park Management Center Inspects Park Facilities to Ensure Tourist Safety

In order to ensure the personal safety and smooth operation of tourist facilities in the parks under its jurisdiction, the Yantai Development Zone Park Management Center recently organized personnel and materials to conduct a comprehensive inspection and repair of the amusement facilities, fitness equipment, and their functional and safety operation in the parks, squares, and residential mini-gardens. Unreliable amusement facilities were replaced, repaired, and eliminated, increasing residents' and tourists' sense of security and happiness, and creating favorable conditions for citizens and tourists to visit parks during the upcoming Qingming Festival and May Day Labor Day.
Public parks, squares, and community mini-gardens are important places for residents and foreign tourists to play and exercise, including lighting, fountains, music, water and electricity supply, amusement and fitness equipment, etc. These facilities are diverse and professional. How to maintain and use them well so that they can play their functions, operate safely, and prevent personal injury and equipment damage is an important responsibility of the managers. Therefore, the Park Management Center took strong measures to strengthen management: First, a 'Park, Square, and Mini-Garden Facility Equipment Repair and Maintenance Management System' was established, clearly defining the responsibilities of the relevant management departments and positions, and ensuring that all equipment and facilities in the jurisdiction were managed comprehensively, with responsibility assigned to departments, teams, and individuals. The Safety Production Supervision Department was responsible for overall supervision and inspection. Based on this, equipment and facility quantities, manufacturers, production dates, usage methods, expiry dates, maintenance and repair precautions, and installation drawings were recorded. This work was difficult because these facilities were purchased and installed by the park and square construction units, and the Park Management Center only took over their use. Finding the original equipment and construction drawings was difficult. To ensure the safety and reliability of the equipment and the safety of visitors, they overcame all difficulties to solve it.
In addition, specialized facilities such as music fountains, fitness equipment, and lighting sound systems were outsourced to qualified units for repair and maintenance. Strict management was implemented for the repair units, requiring agreement on equipment inspection cycles, repair plans, and repair costs to prevent overdue inspections and waste of repair expenses. Original records were required for materials purchased for repair and maintenance, inspection periods, and repair processes. To ensure that visitors could safely use amusement equipment, they installed warning signs in conspicuous locations in the parks and squares, and some deployed security personnel to guide visitors in the safe use of various equipment.
The Star Sea Bay Mini-Garden was developed by real estate construction. After the Park Management Center took over, the lighting, bumper cars, and various fitness equipment were severely damaged and could not be used normally. In the face of a very tight repair fund, the Park Management Center raised funds from various sources to completely renovate the mini-garden, repairing existing equipment and replacing equipment exceeding its service life, receiving praise from residents of the community.
