According to "" ( Archaeological Notes), "Among the three old mountains of Hui City, also known as the Nine Mountains. The proverb says: ‘Three mountains store, three mountains see, three mountains cannot be seen.’ Dingwu Mountain is for storage."
During the Five Dynasties, a (Sungyue Chongfu Xingyung) was built here, which was the site of the (Minwang - Duke of) and his ancestral worship, hence the name (Sungshan) and also known as (Zhongshan - Central Mountain).
During the Tang Dynasty, in the thirteenth year of the Xuantong reign (1872), Anfu Monastery was established.
In the second year of the Liang Dynasty, Qianhua (912), Wang Shenzhi built a seven-story wooden pagoda, which was abolished in the first year of the Song Dynasty.
During the Qing Dynasty, in the Xianfeng reign (1867), a "Great Jue Lian Society" was rebuilt on the site. It was renovated again in the Dongwei year of the Tongzhi era (1867).
The current building area is 3896 square meters.
