Han Yuan Deep Creek Gorge is Magnificent: A Bridge Spans the Dawhe River Gorge, the Chengdu-Kunming Railway Pierces Through the Cliffside

Starting from Luxi River Golden Mouth River District, follow the Yangtze River upstream along the original Provincial Highway 306 (now National Highway 245), heading to Huangen County's Wushe Town.
Good road conditions, asphalt road along the banks of the Yangtze River, narrow river valley on both sides, all with towering cliffs rising towards the sky, majestic mountains directly piercing the clouds.
Crossing the Feishuiya Bridge, the car entered the Shixigu Tunnel. Shixigu Tunnel is a highway tunnel, more than 4600 meters long. Due to the speed limit, the car slowly moves in the yellowish light, as if traveling through a time tunnel.

Coming out of the Shixigu Tunnel entrance, you stepped onto the Shixigu Bridge. The Shixigu Bridge is like a beautiful and colorful rainbow across the Yangtze River gorge.
The Shixigu Bridge has a pedestrian channel, and some tourists are standing on the overhanging bridge, excitedly waving their mobile phones and cameras, recording the magnificent scenery of the Yangtze River gorge.
Tax can park the car at the bridgehead, quickly get off the car and run to the center of the Shixigu Bridge, underfoot is the vast and boundless Yangtze River, and the cliffs on both sides of the gorge are towering into the clouds, the Yangtze River gorge is truly magnificent!
At the bottom of the Shixigu Bridge, a stone tablet with the inscription ‘Yangtze River Gorge National Geological Park’ is erected. This is also the upper entrance to the park.
The main body of the Yangtze River Gorge National Geological Park is between Jinhekou and Wushe, the Yangtze River gorge. Because the park is located in the three-way intersection of Ya’an, Luzhou, and Liangshan County, the scenic area is jointly managed by Huangen, Jinzhou, and Lanhe.
Not far from the Shixigu Bridge is the Shixigu Hydropower Station. The upper reaches of the Shixigu Hydropower Station are Waterfall Canyon Hydropower Station, and the lower reaches are the Pillow Dam Hydropower Station under construction. It seems that this waterway concentrates a lot of hydropower development.
